The castle is on the south coast of Wales. It is called Laugharn.
The famous Welsh poet , Dylan Thomas, lived in that village for a few
years before he died. The wide expanse of water is the estuary of the
River Taff. The other castle, in the rain is on the border of Wales
and England. Montgomery.
The swans on the river and the bridge are in St Cleers where Jasper and
I stayed for four days after the house party. The cream coloured house
is Manordaf Guest House where we were warmly welcomed. Jasper on the
beach was one of our walks. Quite a drive from where we were staying.
The picture of me was taken at a statetly home called Montacute, near
here. The chair in which I was sitting is made straight out of an
ancient tree. Surprisingly comfortable.
