Carcassonne 2019
An incredibly well preserved Medieval city with a history stretching
back 2,500 years. Those ramparts are high. Incongruous to see a Best
Western Hotel right inside the ancient walls. Around 3 million visitors
every year. Glad I was there out of season, even though it was cold,
grey and windy. The summer in this area is incredibly hot and full of
tourists.
I booked a spot for us and asked if Jasper could come too. The answer
was yes!! The showroom is full of wonderful bottles of vermouth and
other goodies too.
